Coronavirus (COVID-19) Facility Updates

In an effort to prevent spread of COVID-19, we are temporarily imposing a no visitor policy at in accordance with the latest guidelines set forth by the CDC, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), and The Mississippi State Department of Health. The latest guidance calls for the restriction of visitors for nursing facilities.

Here at Leakesville Rehabilitation & Nursing Center, our team’s first priority is safeguarding the health and well-being of our residents. We understand the importance of communication and support of loved ones and friends is to residents during their stay, but we must adjust our visiting policy at this time to ensure the safety of our staff and residents. Based on this, we have determined it is in the best interest of our residents to temporarily not allow any visitors to our facility.

In order to communicate with residents at this time, we please ask that you do so by telephone, email, text, video chat or social media. If you believe a visit to the center is absolutely necessary, please contact the Facility Administrator prior to your arrival. If you have not done so already, please provide us with your most current, emergency contact information to ensure efficient communication should there be any new developments.

At this moment, we have no reported incidents of Coronavirus at Leakesville Rehabilitation & Nursing Center, and we will update you if any residents or staff are diagnosed with COVID-19.
