Strawberry Pie

2 tablespoons cornstarch
3/4 cup sugar
1 cup cold water
1 box strawberry gelatin (such as Jello)
Sliced strawberries (the more the better)
1 unbaked pie shell

1 small container of frozen whipped topping (such as Cool Whip), thawed


Bake pie shell according to package directions and let cool. Add sliced strawberries to baked pie shell.
Mix cornstarch with sugar, making sure to fully incorporate. Add 1 cup cold water to mixture and bring to a boil. When thickened, add 1 box strawberry gelatin and remove from heat. Pour over sliced strawberries in the pie crust.

Allow to cool and add thawed whipped topping to the top.
