Just a Little Vitamin SEA

June 2021

Here at Leakesville Rehab & Nursing Center, we know that we are never too old to learn new things. We love to engage and provide educational information to our patients because we know that to learn new things is to continue to flourish and grow.

Our Activities/ Recreational Department continuously offers new and innovative ways for our patients to gain knowledge while enjoying the learning experience.

Summertime reminds us all of many things such as beautiful beaches, surf, sand and marine life. Oceanography Day was filled with learning all about the conservation of our oceans, beaches and marine life. The theme was “Under the Sea!”

Our patients enjoyed attending an on-site workshop complete with films, hands-on artwork and discussion groups about our beautiful oceans and the importance of coastline conservation efforts to protect our waterways.
Check out our images below, and tune in next time to sea another exciting adventure!
