Janis Haynes-Tatum is a lifelong resident of Bay St. Louis. A college graduate, she began her career as a police dispatcher in 1984, working for the city of Bay St. Louis. She also became her church’s secretary in 1984. After serving Bay St. Louis for 12 years, she began full time at her church in 1996. She worked full time at Power House of Deliverance Ministries Inc. until 2016.
She enjoys traveling, reading, music, cooking, interior decorating, and hosting gatherings for family and friends. A mother and a grandmother, she says her grandchildren BriAnna and Brielle are truly her sunshine. “To God be the Glory, Great things He has done,” she said.
She looks forward to walking out of this facility and beginning the next chapter in her life! We totally support you in that goal, Ms. Janis Haynes-Tatum!
